(\"Exxel\"), a\nwholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has acquired leasehold interests with\noil and gas mineral rights to over 52,000 acres of state-owned lands in the\nColumbia River Basin of central Washington State. The leasehold interests are\nundeveloped and Exxel's working interest is 100 percent. The Columbia River\nBasin has local potential for conventional gas accumulations and possibly deep\nbasin-centered gas accumulations (\"BCGAs\").
