(\"Buccaneer\" or the \"Company\") - (TSX-V: BGG) announces the following results of its Annual and Special Shareholders' Meeting (the \"ASM\") held on April 11, 2011. Name Change The Company is pleased to announce that the shareholders of the Company approved the name change from Verbina Resources Inc. (TSXV:VUR) to Buccaneer Gold Corp. at the ASM. Articles of amendment changing the corporate name were filed on April 11, 2011. A bulletin was issued by the TSX Venture Exchange (the \"Exchange\") on April 18, 2011. Effective April 19, 2011, the common shares of Buccaneer will commence trading on the Exchange and the common shares of Verbina Resources will be delisted at that time. The new trading symbol for Buccaneer's listed shares is \"BGG\". Stock Option Plan The Company's 10% rolling stock option plan was approved by its shareholders at the ASM and and has been accepted for filing by the Exchange. Election of Directors Paul Zyla, Kevin C. Swanborough, Lucy Casacia, Richard W. Grayston and Blaine Schmidt were re-elected directors of the Company at the ASM to hold office for the ensuing year. Appointment of Officers At a meeting of the board of directors (the \"Board\") held following the ASM, Paul Zyla was re-appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer and Kevin C. Swanborough was re-appointed as Chief Financial Officer. The Company is pleased to announce that Peter C. Minuk was appointed as Secretary-Treasurer by the Board. Mr. Minuk is also a director (since March 2007) and the Secretary and Treasurer (since August 2008) and the former Vice-President, Finance (March 2007 to January 2009) of Xtra-Gold Resources Corp.
