[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 3963Y Xeros Technology Group plc 03 March 2017 \n\n3 March 2017\n \nXeros Technology Group plc\n \nNew Appointment: Group Director, Sustainability & Environmental Affairs\n \nXeros Technology Group plc (AIM: XSG), the developer and provider of patented polymer technologies with multiple commercial applications, has appointed Karen Mignone as Group Director, Sustainability and Environmental Affairs.\n \nKaren will work with Xeros' partners, customers and regulatory bodies to promote understanding of the substantial improvements in sustainability which are delivered by Xeros' platform technology. Across Cleaning, Tanning and Textile Technologies, Xeros attains significant reductions in water, chemicals, energy and effluent whilst delivering enhanced product performance. These advantages are highly attractive to Xeros' customers and partners.\nKaren has more than 25 years' experience in environmental affairs, safety, and compliance. She was most recently a Partner at Verrill Dana LLP, prior to which she was at Pepe & Hazard LLP. Environmental affairs were her specialty in both roles. Karen graduated from Pace University School of Law in 1989, after completing her Bachelor degree at Brown University. She is an Executive Committee member of the American Bar Association's Section on the Environment, Energy and Resources.\nPrior to beginning her legal career, Karen worked on the front line of 'blue light' emergency services in the North East of the US. She was the first female firefighter in Rhode Island and one of the first in the country, leading to her subsequent recognition by the Governor of Rhode Island as one of its 'First Ten Women'. \n \nKaren will join Xeros' Executive Management team and will also lead Xeros' own sustainability and compliance programmes.\nMark Nichols, Chief Executive of Xeros, said:\n\"I am delighted to welcome Karen to our Executive Management team.
