Permission will enable Workspace to create jobs and provide new business space, homes and community facilities.\n \nWorkspace plans to redevelop two factory buildings which will provide 46,400 sq ft of space tailored to the needs of small businesses with a particular focus on creative industries. When completed, the scheme will also include a further 5,600 sq ft of newly built studio space, 148 new residential units as well as creating 350 jobs on site.\n \nAs part of the redevelopment, Workspace will create a new public, open space which enables the local community access to Deptford Creek. The company has made a significant financial contribution to support the business community, improve health facilities, education, employment, housing, public open space and transport, and a Cross Rail contribution\n \nJamie Hopkins, Chief Executive Officer of Workspace commented:\n \n\"We are delighted to have secured approval for the Faircharm project.
