Wizz Air continued to grow its network and improve its customer offering as follows:\n \n \n \n \n \n ·\n Wizz Air \n announce\n d\n its major expansion in the Ukrainian market\n ,\n doubling \n its\n capacity\n there\n .\n \n Th\n e\n expansion comes as a result of Ukraine signing\n the\n Open Skies agreement with EU\n \n on 12 October 2021\n . The new investment will increase\n \n its current\n fleet to \n eight\n aircraft in Kyiv International Airport and to \n three\n aircraft in Lviv International Airport\n from summer 2022. \n \n \n ·\n Wizz Air announced the opening of its seventh Italian base, at Venice Marco Polo airport. With \n two\n Airbus A321neo aircraft and with the launch of \n four\n new domestic services and 12 international destinations Wizz Air continues to grow its Italian offer.\n \n \n ·\n Wizz Air Abu Dhabi\n \n announce\n d\n a new route connecting Moscow with Abu Dhabi\n from December 2021\n .\n \n \n \n ·\n Wizz Air\n \n was named Airline of the Year at the Airline Economics Aviation 100 Awards.\n \n Airline Economics praised \n Wizz Air\n for its handling of the pandemic\n .
