[{"type":"text","content":"\n\nNOVEMBER 2023 TRAFFIC AND CO2 EMISSION STATISTICS\nWIZZ AIR CARRIED 4.8 MILLION PASSENGERS, AN INCREASE OF 29% YEAR-ON-YEAR\nTicker: WIZZ\nGeneva, 4 December 2023: Wizz Air Holdings Plc (\"Wizz Air\"), the fastest growing and one of the most sustainable European airlines, today announces passenger and CO2 emission statistics for November 2023.\nIn November 2023, Wizz Air carried 4,760,154 passengers, representing a 29.3% increase compared to November 2022, at a load factor of 88.4%.\nThe airline continued to grow its network and improve its customer offering in November. During the month:\n· Wizz Air Abu Dhabi operated its first flight from the new Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal A, one of the first national carriers to fully move operations to the new world class facility.\n· Following a comprehensive evaluation of safety factors, Wizz Air decided to restart inbound flights to Chisinau, Moldova from 14 December. It intends to gradually reintroduce operations, including reopening its base in Chisinau, while ensuring safe and secure operations for its crew and passengers.\n· The airline decided to suspend operations in Israel until early January 2024. It continues to monitor the situation on the ground closely, and stands ready to redeploy capacity should conditions stabilize. \n· Wizz Air received a Global Environmental Sustainability Airline Group of the Year award for the second consecutive year (2022, 2023) at the CAPA Environmental Sustainability Awards for Excellence.\n· Wizz Air continues to consistently report the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km among competitor airlines, with 51.4 grams per passenger/km for the rolling 12 months to 30 November 2023.
