Westshore Terminals Investment Corporation - Incident at Berth 1

VANCOUVER, Dec. 7, 2012 /CNW/ - Westshore Terminals Investment Corporation (TSX - WTE)  announces that at approximately 1:00 am this morning, a large cape size vessel which was coming to dock at Berth 2 collided with the trestle leading out to Berth 1, removing a large portion of it. There were no injuries nor apparent significant damage to the ship, nor damage to Berth 1. The main priority is to restore power to Berth 1 to secure the shiploader.

It is not possible at this time to determine how long Berth 1 may be out of commission. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
