(TSX:WPT)\n (NASDAQ:WPRT), the global leader in natural gas engines, today\n announced an agreement with leading global clean energy provider ENN\n Group aimed at the proliferation of natural gas and liquefied natural\n gas (LNG) transportation solutions and fuel for on-road, off-road, rail\n and marine applications. ENN is one of China's largest private\n companies with more than 30,000 employees. Highlights of the agreement\n include:\n\n\nGlobal cooperation - the agreement covers the US, Canada, China/Asia,\n Europe, Australia and Africa\n\n\nMultiple transportation platforms - Westport and ENN look to partner for\n opportunities across trucks, rail, marine and mining applications\n\n\nMutual acknowledgement of long-term commitment to LNG infrastructure -\n ENN is expecting to engage in building liquefaction plants in North\n America and fuel stations through the BLU station brand\n\n\nENN to guarantee long term fuelling solutions and agreements for its\n customers\n\n\nWestport to facilitate collaboration between our OEM partners and ENN\n and provide proposals to ENN and its fleet customers\n\n\nFleet optimization - ENN will look at operating its truck fleet on LNG\n as a way to optimize fuel cost savings and reduce harmful emissions\n\n\nENN is active across a wide range of energy services, including\n municipal and home energy services, and has been aggressively building\n out its LNG fueling business in China, with more than 238 natural gas\n stations in 59 cities, and plans to develop LNG liquefaction plants and\n LNG stations in North America.
