("Western" or\n "the Company") (TSX Venture: WRG) is pleased to provide an update with\n regards to its strong operating results.\n\n\nHIGHLIGHTS:\n\n\n\nFleet of 24 modern, fully crewed drilling rigs, 100% of which are\n currently being utilized;\n\n\nOf the 24 rig fleet, 88% (21 rigs) are Efficient Long Reach ("ELR") rigs\n ideally suited for horizontal drilling in the key resource plays in\n Western Canada;\n\n\nUtilization in the contract drilling subsidiary Horizon Drilling Inc.\n ("Horizon") well exceeded industry average utilization rates for Q4\n 2010, January 2011 and February 2011;\n\n\nContinued strong performance from our production services subsidiary\n StimSol Canada Inc.
