Consistent strong mill recoveries, which\naveraged 94.6% in December, enabled production of 3,215 ounces of\ngold. \n\n\n\n\nClick Image To View Full Size\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n“West Red Lake Gold just announced that the Madsen\nmine achieved commercial production on January 1st,” stated\nPreston in the above video.\n\n\n“In December, the mill averaged 689 tonnes per day,\nwhich represents 86% of design capacity. That met our internal\nguideline, which was 65% of design capacity for 30 consecutive\ndays.\n\n\nMined tonnage stepped up, gold grades reconciled\nreliably, the mill churned through more material, and all of this\nmeant the mine produced 3,215 ounces of gold from rock averaging just\nshy of 5 grams per tonne gold.\n\n\nOver the next few\nmonths, during our first quarter of commercial production, mined ore\nwill come predominantly from the 4447 area, which is that high-grade\nzone in South Austin that we de...
