[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nVAL D'OR, QC, June 23 /CNW/ - Wesdome Gold Mines Ltd. is pleased to\nannounce that drilling has resumed on its 100% owned Dubuisson Discovery\nlocated three kilometres east of its Kiena mine in Val d'Or, Quebec.\n\n\nA barge-mounted drill has been mobilized and will be joined in July by a\nsecond one. During the drilling season, which extends until early November,\nthe Company intends to complete at least 25,000 metres of drilling. The\npurpose of the drilling is to define the dimensions, internal continuity and\ngeometry of a new gold occurrence discovered last fall. At that time, six 100\nmetre-spaced, 2-hole sections were completed from the surface of Lac de\nMontigny before the ice set in. Highlights of these initial drilling results\nare listed below and a complete set of drilling results and location maps are\navailable in our press releases dated October 14, 2008 and November 24, 2008\nand available on our website at www.wesdome.com.\n\n\n (x) 4.45 gAu/tonne over 5.1 m\n (x) 6.82 gAu/tonne over 7.7 m\n (x) 6.92 gAu/tonne over 8.0 m\n (x) 8.75 gAu/tonne over 5.8 m\n (x) 4.25 gAu/tonne over 17.0 m\n (x) 7.35 gAu/tonne over 2.7 m\n\n\nTo date, the mineralized system has been traced for 500 metres in an ESE\ndirection. True widths are currently unknown. The internal continuity,\ngeometry and orientation of the mineralization were not previously established\nwith the widely-spaced nature of the drilling pattern.\n\n\nIt is Wesdome's intention to answer these questions with 50 metre-spaced\ninfill drilling and to stepout to delineate the system's dimensions. Drilling\nwill focus on depths above 400 metres. We hope to be in a position to quantify\nthe potential of this new find with a preliminary resource estimate towards\nthe end of the year.\n\n\nTechnical information in this press release has been compiled, reviewed\nand verified by G.
