("Wescan" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that\n Mr. Mark Shimell has joined the Company in a consulting role as Vice\n President of Exploration effective December 16, 2010.\n\n\nMr. Shimell, a Professional Geoscientist with a Bachelor of Science\n degree, has been working as a geologist with Shore Gold Inc. ("Shore")\n exploring for diamonds in Saskatchewan. Mark graduated from the Royal\n School of Mines in London, England in 1995 with a Mining Geology Degree\n and returned in 1999 to complete a Masters program in Petroleum\n Geosciences and Geophysics. After completing his first degree he joined\n the geological consulting firm A.C.A Howe International ("Howe")\n working out of the U.K.  During his time with Howe he worked on a wide\n variety of international projects providing technical and geographic\n information system support to a number of senior consultants.  Mark\n spent two years as a geologist in West Africa working on a gold\n exploration project and a year in Scotland working on a coal bed\n methane project as a consultant of Howe.  Mark joined Shore in January,\n 2008, after having worked as a Howe consultant on Shore's Star Diamond\n project for eight years.\n\n\nWescan is also in the process of contracting the services of ...
