(\"Wescan\") is pleased to announce that Wescan and Santoy Resources Ltd.\n(\"Santoy\") have staked 5 additional claims totaling 20,965 hectares. The\nclaims are located on the northern edge of the Athabasca Basin, and adjoining\ntwo jointly held permit areas known as the Fir Island, and Hazempa Lake\nblocks.\nSantoy as operator of the joint venture in which Wescan holds a 50%\ninterest has been advised by Geotech Ltd. that a helicopter borne EM survey\ncovering the Fir Lake block and one of the new adjoining claims is about to\ncommence. Geotech will be using their latest version of the VTEM system which\nhas been upgraded to generate a more powerful signal compared to their\nprevious version.\n\nWescan is a Canadian based corporation engaged in the acquisition,\nexploration and development of mineral properties.
