(BPX.A: TSX Venture\nExchange) reports that a well drilled in the Pouce Coupe area of northwestern\nAlberta has been completed in the Baldonnel Formation. In the Company's press\nrelease dated March 31, 2006, a completion of the Halfway Formation was noted\nwhich resulted in a gas flow rate of 400 mcfd. In addition, two zones within\nthe Baldonnel Formation have now been completed and flow tested at a combined\ngas rate of 1.1 million cubic feet per day. Blackpool's 25% working interest\nshare of this flow rate represents a possible addition to net gas production\nof 275 mcfd or 46 barrels of oil equivalent per day ((x)6 mcf (equal sign) 1 barrel).\nTie-in of this well to a gas gathering and processing facility will now\nproceed with commencement of production anticipated by the end of the 3rd\nquarter 2006.\n\n(x) BOEs may be misleading, particularly if used in isolation.
