[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nCALGARY, Dec. 19 /CNW/ - Blackpool Exploration Ltd. announces that the\nfirst well of a six well winter program has been drilled in the Clair area of\nnorthwestern Alberta. The well is cased and will be completed in early\nJanuary, 2007.\n\n\nThe Blackpool test well offsets a natural gas well at 15-2-73-5W6M that\ncommenced production at 2 mmcfd and currently produces 534 mcfd from the\nsingle well Clair Charlie Lake \"D\" Gaspool. The 15-2 well has produced 3.633\nbcf to date from original gas in place of 9.5 billion cubic feet. Blackpool\nfarmed out its 67.5% working interest in the Clair prospect and will retain a\nworking interest of 27% after completion of the test well.\n\n\nAdditional wells in the winter program should be drilled by the end of\nthe first quarter of 2007.\n\n\nBlackpool Exploration Ltd. is an Alberta based company engaged in the\nexploration, development and production of oil and natural gas with common\nshares listed and trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol\n\"BPX.A\".
