Blackpool Drills at Cecil

About this update from Wescan Energy Corp.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nCALGARY, March 14 /CNW/ - Blackpool Exploration Ltd. participated for its\n21.5% working interest in the drilling of a test well at Cecil in northwestern\nAlberta. This test well directly offsets and is on trend with a gas producer\nyielding 1.6 million cubic feet per day from a dolomitic reservoir in the\nTriassic age Charlie Lake Formation. The Blackpool well encountered the same\nCharlie Lake reservoir and was flow tested after completion at a stabilized\ngas rate of approximately 600 thousand cubic feet per day. The well is\ncurrently awaiting tie-in to a gas gathering and processing facility.\nProduction commencement is anticipated by April 15, 2007.\n\n\nBOEs may be misleading, particularly if used in isolation. A BOE\nconversion ratio of 6 mcf: 1bbl is based on an energy equivalency conversion\nmethod primarily applicable at the burner tip and does not represent a value\nequivalency at the wellhead.\n\n\nThe TSX Venture Exchange does not accept responsibility for the adequacy\n\n\nor accuracy of this release.\n\n\n","length":1089,"tagName":"div"}]
