Blackpool adds Vice-President, Exploration

CALGARY, July 4 /CNW/ - Blackpool Exploration Ltd. (BPX.A - TSX Venture
Exchange) announces that Terry R. McCallum has joined the Corporation as  
Vice-President, Exploration. Mr. McCallum is a geologist, a graduate of the
University of Saskatchewan. He has extensive experience throughout the Western
Canadian Sedimentary Basin, most recently as Chief Geologist and co-owner of a
private company which grew through the drill bit to more than 1,500 barrels of
oil equivalent per day. At Blackpool, Mr. McCallum will oversee all of the
Corporation's exploration activities, primarily in the Peace River Arch area
of northwestern Alberta.
