[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 0876H Weir Group PLC 08 March 2018 \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Weir Group appoints Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary\n \nThe Weir Group PLC (\"Weir\" or \"the Group\") has appointed Graham Vanhegan as Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and Company Secretary. \nGraham joins from international exploration and production company ConocoPhillips where his roles have included Deputy General Counsel and most recently Vice President of Business Development. He will be a member of Weir's Group Executive and will join Weir on 1 April 2018, becoming Company Secretary on 1 May 2018, following the Group's Annual General Meeting. \nIn addition to his responsibilities as CLO and Company Secretary, Graham will also lead the Group's Corporate Business Development function. Christopher Morgan, current General Counsel and Company Secretary, will remain with Weir in the role of Senior Counsel.\nCommenting, Weir Group Chief Executive Officer Jon Stanton said:\n\"I am delighted to welcome Graham to Weir. He is a leader with an impressive record of achievement having held a number of senior positions in international legal, compliance and business development roles for one of the world's largest energy companies.
