(the“Company”) is pleased to announce the Water License for the Bishop millfacilities was issued on July 13, 2011, upon receipt of confirmation that theapplication to construct a new Class A tailing pond had been uncontested. Construction of the tailings pond andshipment of ore from one of the available sources will start once the Bureau ofLand Management (BLM) has reviewed and accepted the amended Plan of Operations.The Company isconfident that the facilities will be fully commissioned and operational duringthe last quarter of the year. DonWedman, P.Eng., CEO and President of the Company commented that “It truly is aremarkable accomplishment bringing the Bishop mill back into production. It isan example of the California State Departments, Water Board, Inyo County, and BLMall working towards the goal of developing a facility that is environmentally,socially, and financially viable. The Bishop mill facilities will be animportant asset generating cash flow and profits for our shareholders.” Inanticipation of the facility being ready to process ore within the next threemonths, three ore sources will be metalurgically tested to characterize the oreand optimize the mineral recovery. The start up ore will be based on the mosteconomic alternative. A news release will follow once the start up ore has beenselected.
