His body of work includes over 30 feature films and multiple network television projects. Notable credits include Lucky Girl, My B.F.F., One Crazy Christmas, Hip Hop Family Christmas, and Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding, the latter produced in collaboration with Jamie Foxx and Foxxhole Entertainment and premiering on VH1 through Viacom/MTV. Dr. Greg Carter is currently a Professor of Film media at the University of Houston Valenti School of Communication, the McGovern College of Art and a U of H President's Scholar. \r\n\r\nIn addition to his work as a filmmaker, Dr. Carter is a sought-after line producer on major studio and network projects, including A Boy.
