[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTORONTO, July 18 /CNW Telbec/ - VVC EXPLORATION CORPORATION (VVC: TSX-V)\n(V7S: FSE / BBSE) ("VVC" or the "Company) is please to report that soil and\nmagnetic surveys carried out over the Playfair Township property have outlined\nareas of anomalous zinc, lead, copper, nickel and gold. These soil anomalies\nwere detected in four areas north of and adjacent to airborne electromagnetic\nconductors. The Playfair property which was acquired in November 2006, is\nlocated in the Bourkes Area, about 25 km northwest of Kirkland Lake and 75 km\neast of Timmins, Ontario.\n\n\nThe Company also owns or has options on other properties in the same\ngeneral area which were acquired for their base metal and gold potential.\n\n\nH.L. Lovell, Resident, Geologist, Kirkland Lake in Geological Report 92\n1971 wrote "Apparently the highest grade concentrations of zinc, lead and\ncopper in the Kirkland Lake area (including the Bourkes area) are along strike\nor en echelon from or short distances stratigraphically above (but not in) the\nzones of bedrock causing the highest magnetic (magnetite, pyrrhotite) and\nelectromagnetic (graphite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, marcasite) anomalies."\n\n\nWith this theory in mind the Company anticipates conducting soil surveys\nover the other airborne EM conductors on its properties in the Bourkes area\nduring the 2007 exploration season. Exploration by trenching of the\ngeochemical anomalies in Playfair Township, will also be conducted. In\naddition, the Company anticipates drill testing one of the anomalies this\nsummer, subject to the availability of a drill rig.\n\n\nThe technical aspects of this news release were reviewed by M.W. Rennick,\nP. Eng. (QP).\n\n\nIn a recent statement, Mr. Daniel Grenier, President and CEO of the\nCompany pointed out that: "Current activities in the Timmins Mining Camp,\nnotably the discovery by Golden Chalice (GCR-TSXV) approximately 60 km to the\nwest, have increased awareness of the importance of this area. As such, the\nCompany wants to focus its attention in this region, being one of the oldest\nmining camps in Canada."\n\n\nAbout VVC:\n\n\n----------\n\n\nVVC Exploration Corporation is a Canadian exploration company with\nprojects in Canada.
