[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTORONTO, May 30 /CNW Telbec/ - VVC EXPLORATION CORPORATION (VVC: TSX-V)\n(V7S: Frankfurt/Berlin) ("VVC" or the "Company") is pleased to report that a\nhigh resolution magnetometer geophysical survey was recently carried out on\nthe Benoit Twp. Claims located in the Kirkland Lake area and that the work was\nfiled for assessment to maintain the claims in good standing.\n\n\nThe Benoit Property lies some 24 km northwest of the Town of Kirkland\nLake and consists of four unpatented contiguous mining claims comprising\n30 claim-units in the northwest quadrant of the Township and is located in a\ngold producing region. This past winter, Northern Gold Mining Inc. (NGM-TSXV)\ncarrying out a 2,290-metre drilling program of 18 holes on the adjoining\nBourkes Mine Property and on the Wolf Lake Property 3 km to the south, with\ninitial results having included values of 405 g/t Au over 0.3 metres.\n\n\nThe report by Meegwich Consultants Ltd. recommends further geophysical\nsurveys with special emphasis on ultramafic related sulphide mineralization.\nThe Company will consider further work following an evaluation of the new data\nand its relative importance to previous data.\n\n\nVVC is also pleased to report that line cutting on its Timmins Township\nProperty has been completed and a geophysical survey program is due to\ncommence immediately. The surveys will include magnetic, VLF and HLEM\nelectromagnetic data to delineate the airborne geophysical response from\ngovernment surveys.\n\n\nThe Timmins Township Property, a single nine-unit unpatented claim,\nlocated in the centre of Timmins Township about 48 km east-southeast of the\nCity of Timmins, has been assessed and is deemed to be a prime target for base\nmetals exploration. The property is accessible by the Gibson Lake Road and\ntertiary bush roads approximately 35 km south from the junction of the Gibson\nLake Road and Highway 101. The Timmins Township Property covers a northwest\ntrending zone of strong airborne electromagnetic responses within a complex\nmagnetic system.\n\n\nThe technical aspects of this news release were reviewed by independent\n(QP) Mel Rennick, P.
