 EXTRA YEAR-END SPECIAL DIVIDEND

December 24, 2012

Directors of Vulcan International Corporation, a Delaware holding company owning separate corporations located in Tennessee manufacturing rubber and foam products, and real estate operations in Ohio, Michigan and Tennessee held a meeting on December 24, 2012.

The Board of Directors declared an extra year-end special dividend of $.30 cents per share on the common stock of the Company. The dividend payment is payable on December 28, 2012 to shareholders of record December 21, 2012.
