[{"type":"text","content":"VR Confirms the Diamond Potential for the Kimberlite Breccia Pipe at Northway in Northern Ontario\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n September 12, 2023 -\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n Vancouver, BC -\n \n VR Resources Ltd.\n \n (TSX.V:VRR\n \n \n )\n \n \n (\n \n \n FSE:5VR\n \n \n )\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:VRRCF\n \n \n )\n \n , the \"\n \n Company\n \n \", or “\n \n VR\n \n ”, has received complete results\nfrom caustic fusion and mineralogy from hole NW22-001, the first hole\ninto the kimberlite breccia pipe on its Northway property in Northern\nOntario.\n \n \n A micro-diamond fragment was recovered from the uppermost part of the\n30 metres of kimberlitic material intersected in drill hole NW22-001,\nthe first reconnaissance drill hole into the eastern part of the 1.2\nkm magnetic anomaly at Northway. Attributes of the micro-diamond\ninclude:\n \n \n \n \n clear, free of inclusions;\n \n \n \n \n transparent, colourless;\n \n \n \n \n a fragment of a larger diamond.\n \n \n \n \n Additional heavy mineral analyses from this section of core reveals:\n \n \n \n \n 1 eclogitic pyrope-almandine garnet with Mg-ilmenite inclusion;\n \n \n \n \n 6 chromite grains, of which 2 fall within the diamond stability\nfield;\n \n \n \n \n \n Photo 1\n \n shows the sample\ninterval (243 – 257.7m) of kimberlitic pyroclastic mudstone and\nwaterlain volcaniclastic kimberlite which contains the diamond\nfragment, at the top of the 30 metres intersected in Hole 001 into the\ncrater facies at the top of the breccia pipe complex, before the hole\nwas terminated due to caving in the overburden (\n \n NR-23-005; February 22, 2023\n \n ).\n \n \n The balance of\n \n \n caustic fusion and\nmineral composition results are pending for holes 002 and 003 which\nwere collared at the same site located approximately 450 m to the\nnorthwest of Hole 001, as shown in\n \n Figure 1\n \n and\n \n Figure\n2\n \n .
