[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 5693S\n Vp PLC\n 17 November 2021\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Press Release\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n 17 November 2021\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vp plc\n \n \n ('Vp' or the 'Group')\n \n \n \n \n \n Acquisition of M&S Hire\n \n \n \n \n \n Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, today announces the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of M&S Hire Limited ('M&S') for a cash consideration of £2.8 million.\n \n \n \n \n \n M&S was founded in 1984 and is a specialist rental business engaged in the supply of access systems and working at height solutions to contractors in the commercial fit out sector.\n \n \n \n \n \n M&S operates from a single location in Sittingbourne, Kent and focuses on the Greater London market. M&S will be integrated with MEP Hire which offers low level access and press fitting tools from nine locations within Vp's UK division.\n \n \n \n \n \n Commenting on the acquisition, Jeremy Pilkington, Chairman of Vp plc, said:\n \n \n \"The acquisition of M&S is an excellent addition to our very successful MEP Hire business and it will complement its existing operations with increased exposure to the commercial fit out sector.
