(\n \n \n TSXV:VM\n \n \n )\n(\n \n \n OTC\n \n \n :VYYRF) (the\n\"Company\" or \"Voyageur\") has signed a memorandum\nof understanding (MOU) with Rain Cage Carbon Inc. (RCC), to\nen\n \n \n ter\n \n \n into a development\nagreement for fullerene-based contrast agents. RCC, a carbon capture\ncompany located in Calgary, Alberta, has proven technology that\nremoves CO\n \n \n 2\n \n \n and other\npollutants from hydrocarbon exhaust streams. The CO\n \n \n 2\n \n \n is converted into oxygen and carbon\nand creates fullerene allotropes and nanotubes that can be applied to\na wide variety of products to enhance strength, durability and, in the\ncase of contrast materials, ease of delivery. A fullerene is an\nallotrope of carbon with atoms connected by single and double bonds to\nform a closed (or partly closed) mesh that can potentially act as a\nversatile delivery system for a wide range of biomedical applications.\nAccording to the NIH National Library of Medicine (\n \n \n \n \n https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2676811/\n \n \n \n \n ) carbon allotropes have multiple applications in the\npharmaceutical industry for radiology contrast media, drug and gene\ndelivery systems, anti-viral and anti-bacterial medications,\nphotosensitizers, and can also be used as antioxidants. The major\nhindrances to advancing new fullerene-based drugs are cost, quality,\nand quantities of supply.\n \n \n \n \n Brent Willis, CEO, states “\n \n \n Voyageur has been on a multi-year quest to\nfind a high quality, dependable supply of fullerenes for its radiology\ncontrast media drug pipeline. We have reviewed several products and\ncompanies in that effort. Rain Cage Carbon is by far, the most\nadvanced we have found. RCC has revolutionised the carbon capture\nmarket by creating high-volume low-cost fullerene allotropes, as a\nbiproduct of their carbon dioxide (CO\n \n \n 2\n \n \n ) capture process.  We now have another potential mineral-based\ncontrast, that we can...
