(TSX.V: VM) (OTC: VYYRF)\n(\"Voyageur\" or the \"Corporation\") is pleased to\nannounce the launch of its U.S.-based iodine feasibility program, a\nmajor step toward establishing a vertically integrated production\nsystem for iodine-based contrast media drugs used in diagnostic\nimaging. Upon completion of the feasibility study and satisfactory\nresults, Voyageur is positioning itself to become the first company\nwith a fully integrated dual (barium and iodine) pharmaceutical-grade\nmanufacturing platform in North America.\n \n\n\n\n The iodine feasibility program begins with bench-scale\ntesting of iodine-rich oilfield brine water to determine the technical\nand economic viability of iodine extraction.\n \n\n Voyageur has developed a proprietary manufacturing method\ncalled the “Streamline Process,” which will be assessed and\nrefined during the feasibility phase in collaboration with third-party\nengineering experts. Upon successful completion of the bench-scale\ntesting and assessment of the Streamline Process, Voyageur will\ninitiate the next phase of the feasibility study, to evaluate the\nconstruction of a processing facility capable of converting brine into\niodine and manufacturing contrast media drugs.\n \n\n\n\n This initiative aligns with Voyageur’s long-term\nstrategy to vertically integrate the full radiology contrast media\nsupply chain, from raw mineral extraction to final drug production,\nall within North America. The project addresses growing national\nsecurity concerns about foreign reliance on the iodine contrast media\nsupply chain, which is currently dominated by manufacturers in Europe\nand China who source raw iodine primarily from Chile and Japan.  A\nbrief summary of goals for this program include:\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Economic Validation:\n \n\n Bench-Scale Testing to validate technical and economic\nviability of iodine extraction from iodine rich produced oil field\nbrine water.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Feasibility Study:\n \n\n To assess potential for commercial i...
