[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 2422A Volution Group plc 20 January 2020 \n\n \nMonday 20 January 2020\n \nVolution Group plc\nDirectorate change\nAppointment of new Chairman\n \n \nVolution Group plc (the \"Company\", the \"Group\" or \"Volution\", LSE: FAN) a leading supplier of ventilation products to the residential and commercial construction markets, announces that further to the announcement of 10 January 2020 that Peter Hill would retire as Non-executive Chairman and be succeeded by Paul Hollingworth, Peter and the Board have agreed that in order to allow Peter to concentrate on his new Chairman-designate role at Petra Diamonds Limited, and with the search for a new Non-executive Director to Chair the Audit Committee now fully underway, it would be appropriate if Peter retired from the Volution Board at the end of the first half of the financial year, on 31 January 2020. This will allow Paul Hollingworth to assume the Chairmanship from 1 February 2020, the start of the second half of Volution's financial year.\n \nTony Reading, Volution's Senior Independent Director, will become Interim Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 February 2020, serving until a permanent successor is recruited and appointed.\n \nPaul Hollingworth will also be appointed as Chairman of the Nomination Committee with effect from 1 February 2020.
