[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 7541N Volex PLC 11 September 2013 \n \n\n11 September 2013\n \nVolex plc\n(\"Volex\", or the \"Company\")\n \nScrip Calculation Price for October 2013 Dividend in relation to the Scrip Dividend Scheme\n \nAt the Company's 2013 Annual General Meeting, held on 22 July 2013, a resolution was passed allowing qualifying Shareholders to receive relevant dividends in new ordinary shares instead of in cash (the \"Scrip Dividend Scheme\").\n \nIn relation to the dividend for the period 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2013 payable on 17 October 2013 (the \"October 2013 Dividend\"), the price of a new ordinary share in relation to the Scrip Dividend Scheme (the \"Scrip Calculation Price\") has been set at 115.95 pence. This is the average of the closing middle market quotations for the Company's ordinary shares for the five consecutive business days commencing on the ex-dividend date of 4 September 2013, and based on the currency conversion rate of $1.0000 USD / £0.6398 GBP as at the record date of 6 September 2013 (the \"Record Date\").\n \nShareholders can obtain a Form of Election/Mandate from Capita Asset Services. In order to be valid, forms must be received by the Company's registrars, Capita Asset Services, (or CREST instructions entered) by no later than 5.00 p.m. on 26 September 2013 (the \"Delivery Deadline\") in order for elections under the Scrip Dividend Scheme to be effective in relation to the October 2013 Dividend. \n \nMandate Forms remain valid for all relevant dividends where a Scrip Dividend alternative is offered, until cancelled.\n \nShareholders who do not wish to receive a Scrip Dividend alternative need take no further action and will receive a cash dividend in respect of the October 2013 Dividend in the usual way.
