[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Sept. 19 /CNW/ - Copper Mesa Mining Corporation ("Copper Mesa"\nor the "Company") (TSX:CUX) is pleased to announce that it has received\nconfirmation from the National Director of Mines ("NDM") that both the Golden\n1 and Golden 2 concessions, which comprise the important Junin\ncopper-molybdenum prospect in the Imbabura Province of Ecuador, are to be\nreinstated to the Company. The NDM has instructed the applicable governmental\nagencies to take all steps as necessary to put this order into effect.\n\n\nGary E. Davis, President and CEO of the Company, commented, "We view this\naction as a very positive outcome to our appeal of the purported nullification\nof these concessions in January 2008. This is further evidence of the\nwillingness of the current Administration to work jointly with mining\ncompanies for advancement of mining interests in the country."\n\n\nThe Company eagerly anticipates the new Mining Law which is currently\nbeing drafted and readied for approval by the legislature.
