[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDENVER, Sept. 3 /CNW/ -- Vista Gold Corp. ("Vista") (TSX & NYSE Amex:\nVGZ) announced today the updated mineral resources for the Guadalupe de los\nReyes gold project in Sinaloa, Mexico.\n\n\nIn January 2008, Vista consolidated the Guadalupe de los Reyes District\nby acquiring the interests of Grandcru Resources Corporation in the district.\n(Please refer to our December 19, 2007, and January 24, 2008, press releases\nfor details of the transaction.)\n\n\nIn July 2009, Vista retained Pincock, Allen & Holt ("PAH") of Lakewood,\nColorado, to complete a mineral resource estimation for the district. The\nmineral resource estimate found in the following table has been adjusted to\nreflect material removed from old underground workings.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Guadalupe de los Reyes Project Mineral Resource Estimates\n (0.50 g/t Cutoff)\n------------------------------------------------------------------------\n Contained\n Metric Gold Grade Contained Silver Grade Silver\n Tonnes (g/t) Gold Ounces (g/t) Ounces\n------------------------------------------------------------------------\nIndicated(1) 10,048,000 1.50 484,000 25.74 8,313,900\n------------------------------------------------------------------------\nInferred(2) 4,888,000 2.02 316,800 59.98 9,425,500\n------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n1. Cautionary Note to U.S. Investors concerning estimates of Indicated\n Resources: This table uses the term "measured resources" and "indicated\n resources". We advise U.S. investors that while this term is recognized\n and required by Canadian regulations, the U.S. Securities and Exchange\n Commission ("SEC") does not recognize it. The SEC normally only permits\n issuers to report mineralization that does not constitute "reserves" as\n in-place tonnage and grade without reference to unit measures. The\nterm\n "contained gold ounces" used in this table is not permitted under the\n rules of the SEC. U.S. investors are cautioned not to assume that any\n part or all of mineral deposits in these categories will ever be\n converted into reserves.\n\n2. Cautionary Note to U.S. Investors concerning estimates of Inferred\n Resources: This table uses the term "inferred resources". We advise\nU.S.\n investors that while...
