Earnest as Senior Vice\nPresident, Project Development effective September 22, 2006. Mr. Earnest\nholds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He has over\n20 years experience in the mining industry, including management of\nengineering and technical services, general manager and, most recently, as\nPresident of Pacific Rim El Salvador, S.A. de C.V. At Pacific Rim, he was\nresponsible for all Latin American operations including the development of the\nEl Dorado project that, when completed, will be El Salvador's first commercial\ngold mine in 50 years and is expected to produce over 100,000 ounces of gold\nper year. At El Dorado, he had in-country involvement in community relations,\nenvironmental stewardship, permitting, government relations and feasibility\npreparation. Previously, as General Manager and Legal Representative for\nCompania Minera Dayton, he was responsible for the low-grade, heap-leach\nAndacollo gold operation in Chile that produced up to 135,000 ounces of gold\nper year. At Vista, his duties will include advancing the Corporation's\nprojects toward production decisions, which will involve managing technical\nand feasibility studies, acquiring environmental permits, and negotiating with\ngovernmental officials and private landowners and stakeholders.\nMike Richings, Vista President and CEO, commented, \"We are very happy to\nhave Fred Earnest join us in this capacity.
