(TSX Venture\nExchange: GPL) (the "Corporation") notes with sadness that its Chairman and a\ndirector, Mr. Leslie Cahan, has passed away in Phoenix, Arizona after a brief\nillness. Mr. Cahan will be missed by all of us and we extend our condolences\nto his family.\n\n\nMr. Leslie Cahan acted as Chairman, a director and Corporate Secretary of\nthe Corporation since March 30, 2007. Mr. Cahan had over 55 years of business\nexperience in the resource, real estate and manufacturing sectors, and was\ninvolved in all aspects of such sectors, including development, construction,\nmanufacturing & marketing. Mr. Cahan pioneered the development of mobile camps\nfor the oil and gas industry as well as pipeline construction companies.\nThrough United Trailer Company, Mr. Cahan was involved in the manufacture of\nthe majority of all mobile camps for Transcanada Pipeline Ltd. and West Coast\nTransmission Company Ltd., as well as for a number of other geophysical and\ngeological exploration companies. Mr. Cahan was a partner in North King\nEquipment Canada Ltd., a private company which manufactured the first\noff-highway transport equipment for oil and gas drilling and exploration\ncompanies. Mr. Cahan was a partner in Can Amera Oil Sands Ltd. which developed\nthe first tar sands separator. Mr. Cahan was also a partner in Nanisivick - on\nBaffin Island - one of the world's largest zinc mines as.\n\n\nThe Corporation intends to commence a search for a suitable replacement\nin due course.\n\n\nThe Corporation is a mining exploration and development company with\nholdings in northern Alberta, Canada.
