[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, April 4, 2012 /CNW/ - Callinex Mines (TSX.V: CNX) (OTCQX:\n CLLXF) has received results from a metallurgical test program conducted\n on drill core samples from their Gossan Hill property. The test has\n determined that the gold contained in the sample appears to be\n relatively clean and amenable to basic mineral processing recovery\n methods. The test was performed to assess the preliminary\n recoverability of gold and silver using gravity, cyanidation and\n flotation methods. Among the most encouraging aspects of the final\n report submitted to the company are:\n\n\nCyanidation and Flotation methods produced similar results in terms of\n gold recovery, however flotation showed significantly better recovery\n for silver.\n\n\nThe cyanidation leach test recovered 83-88% of the gold, and 58-62% of\n the silver.\n\n\nThe sulphide flotation test resulted in recoveries of 86-88% of the gold\n and 97% of the silver.\n\n\nThe Bond ball mill work index indicates a \"medium hardness ore\" which\n suggests a 16.6 kWh/tonne rate of power usage in milling.\n\n\nThe Metallurgical test was conducted by Inspectorate Exploration and\n Mining Service of Richmond, BC on a sample consisting of a composite of\n 2011 drill core sample rejects that averaged 4.22g/t Au, and 12.57 g/t\n Ag, ground  from 154 to 80 microns.\n\n\nThe company considers this test to be a very encouraging step in the\n development of the Gossan Hill Project. In the context of the\n gold-bearing structure isolated during the 2011 drill program, and the\n strong early results from step-out drilling in the ongoing 2012\n program, this metallurgical report bolsters the company's confidence in\n the Gossan Hill Project.\n\n\nOn Behalf of the Board of Directors,\n\n\nJ.J.
