[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nVAL-D'OR, QC, Sept. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Yves Rougerie, President and CEO of\nAbitex Resources Inc. (TSX-V: ABE) (the "Company") is very pleased to announce\nthe discovery of a new high grade Uranium-Gold occurrence on the Company's\n100% owned Epsilon property in the Otish Mountains region of Quebec. The new\ndiscovery named Epsilon-B is located 750 meters southwest of the Epsilon-A\noccurrence discovered in 2008 where two samples assayed 2.15% U3O8 and 27.7\ng/t Au as well as 1.04% U3O8 and 8.7 g/t Au (Abitex Press Release of April 14,\n2009).\n\n\nThe technical success of making two high grade discoveries in less than a\nyear is a reflection of the highly qualified exploration team we have mandated\nto explore the Epsilon property as well as our ability to recognize and\nacquire areas which exhibit signs for these types of discoveries. With two\nhigh grade discoveries in less than a year in the same area, the Company\nbelieves it has identified a new area of high potential uranium-gold\nmineralization in the Otish Basin. Abitex has a large ground position\nsurrounding the discoveries and is the clear leader in the central Otish area\nwith the Epsilon and Lavoie projects as well as the only all-weather camp\nwithin 50+ km.\n\n\nThe Epsilon-B occurrence was discovered through follow-up ground\nprospecting of radiometric anomalies defined during a detailed airborne survey\nin 2009. On the ground, an area of highly elevated radioactivity was\nidentified extending for more than 100 meters in shallow overburden. By late\nAugust, a strongly radioactive outcrop area of approximately 70 square meters\n(700 sq ft) was exposed from which four grab samples were extracted using a\nrock saw. The samples from the new discovery outcrop represent areas of\nhighest and lowest radioactivity and returned the following results:\n\n\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nSample no. U3O8 % Au g/t Pb % Ag g/t\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nB-01 3.36 2.20 2.81 159\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nB-02(x) 3.54 46.85 1.20 89.8\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nB-03(x) 0.33 6.94 0.27 41\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nB-04 0.17 0.1...
