(TSX-V: AZM) ("Azimut")\nreport encouraging results following the 2008 first reconnaissance program\nperformed on the Kangiq property in Nunavik, Quebec. Several uranium\nprospects, with grades up to 0.94% U3O8, have been identified, including the\nextension on the property of the Puqila Zone outlined on the adjacent Daniel\nLake property. These results further confirm the large-scale uranium\nmineralized system discovered in 2006 in the region. The potential for\nadditional discoveries is clearly supported by the uranium airborne footprint\nidentified during surveys covering the property.\n\n\nWork performed in 2008 comprised:\n\n\n- Surface rock sampling and prospecting of the western half of the\n property: 149 grab samples\n- Mapping of the Puqila Zone\n- 3,048 line-km of helicopter-borne spectrometric and magnetic surveying:\n\nThe 2008 program led to an improved understanding of the regional-scale\ngeological features controlling the distribution of the uranium\nmineralization. On the property, many unexplored uranium airborne targets in\nthe three geological settings defined below, indicate a considerable\nexploration upside:\n\n(a) Geological contact between the Archean basement and Proterozoic\n metasedimentary rocks. This type of setting is considered highly\n prospective for uranium on a worldwide basis. In the region, this\n favourable geological contact is being explored along a 70 km\n continuous strike length.\n\n(b) Regional-scale late northwest-trending faults hosted in the Archean\n basement.\n\n(c) Favourable lithologies within the Proterozoic metasedimentary package\n of the Lake Harbour Group. Reduced facies and carbonates represent\n high priority targets that have been subject to very limited\n exploration to date. The eastern part of the Kangiq property covers a\n large portion of the Lake Harbour metasediments. Areva's Cage\n property discovery in the same region is reportedly associated with\n Proterozoic metasediments and carbonates in particular. Areva has a\n large claim block adjoining the Kangiq property's eastern boundary.\n\nThe 149 grab rock samples collected to date at Kangiq indicate an average\nuranium value of 460 ppm U3O8 (or 0.046%) for all...
