[{"type":"text","content":"\n Victoria PLC\n23 March 2006\n\n\n\nIssued by Citigate Dewe Rogerson Limited, Birmingham\nDate: Thursday, 23 March 2006\n\n IMMEDIATE RELEASE\n\n Victoria P.L.C.\n ('the Group')\n\n Year End Update\n\nThe Board of Victoria P.L.C. wishes to provide the following update prior to the\nclose period, for the year ending 1 April 2006:\n\nOverall, the Group's operations have been trading in-line with expectations\nduring the second half of the financial year. It is anticipated that the Group's\nresults for the year ending 1 April 2006, before the following restructuring\ncosts, will be in-line with consensus market forecasts.\n\nAs part of the on-going review of the business and in particular, the need to\nremain efficient and competitive in today's markets, it is proposed that the\nGroup's dyeing operations in Kidderminster will cease. The cost of closure is\nanticipated to be in the region of £175,000 which will be taken as a one-off\nrestructuring charge in the accounts for the year ending 1 April 2006.
