[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n 22 June 2022\n \n \n \n Vianet Group plc\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n (\"Vianet\", \"Company\" or \"the Group\")\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vianet Wins 'Best Payment System' & 'Best Supplier Website' at 'The Vendies' 2022\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vianet Group plc (AIM: VNET), the international provider of actionable data and business insight through devices connected to its Internet of Things platform (\"IOT\"), is pleased to announce that it was crowned winner of two awards at 'The Vendies' 2022 in London earlier this month.\n \n \n At this year's Vending Industry Awards, held on Thursday, 9 June 2022, in Holborn, London and hosted by Vending International, Vianet won the awards for 'Best Payment System' and 'Best Supplier Website', as well as being 'Highly Commended' for the 'Corporate Responsibility' award, alongside the category winner.\n \n \n The event welcomed a wealth of suppliers and operators from across the UK's vending industry, with the awards recognising the best innovations and achievements within the sector. Vianet was shortlisted in seven award categories. Each award entry was reviewed by an independent panel of industry experts from across the sector in accordance with a strict set of criteria. The shortlists went to an online vote, where professionals from the vending sector were able to cast a vote on their favourite products, operators, and individuals.\n \n \n The 'Best Payment System' award against international competition is a huge achievement for Vianet, recognising the Company's new all-in-one contactless payment and telemetry solution, 'SmartContact Pro', which has been introduced to the unattended retail market as contactless payment reached new highs of demand throughout the pandemic.\n \n \n Following the launch of its new and improved website in November 2021, Vianet was also awarded 'Best Supplier Website' at the ceremony.
