Mike will join the board from 1 February 2014.\n \nMike is Non-Executive Chairman of Peakdale Molecular Limited and a Non-Executive Director of AIM listed Advanced Computer Software Group plc and Instem plc. He was previously Non-Executive Chairman of Tikit Group plc, a leading provider of software to law firms in the UK, until its acquisition by British Telecom in November 2012. Mike was a main board director of Skillsgroup plc from 1994 to 2000 with responsibility for corporate development, including a number of acquisitions and disposals totalling over £100 million. He has also held positions as Non-Executive Chairman of Xpertise Group Plc, Non-Executive Director of Fraser Williams Group PLC and ARI Limited.\n \nAfter starting his career with ten years at IBM, Mike co-founded a successful ComputerLand franchise in 1984. This business was sold to SHL Systemhouse Inc. in Sept 1989. Mike stayed on to grow the business to over 800 employees operating across Europe. He has an MBA and a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. \n \nJames Dickson, Executive Chairman for Vianet, said: \"We are delighted to welcome Mike to the Board of Vianet as a Non-Executive Director.
