(the "Company") is pleased\nto announce its Phase 1 exploration program has commenced on the Company's\nEmerald - Kaslo Property, which is located in the Slocan Mining Division,\n14 km northwest of Kaslo, British Columbia, Canada in the Kootenay Lake Forest\nDistrict. The Slocan district is located in southeastern British Columbia,\nCanada, and was a major producer of silver, lead, zinc, copper, and gold at\nthe turn of the last century when over 300 mines were in operation.\n\n\nEmerald -Kaslo Property\n\n\n-----------------------\n\n\nThe Property consists of five MTO (Mineral Titles Online) claims\ncollectively named the Emerald Claim Group with a total claim area of\n1307.8 hectares. The Emerald Property is host to five areas of minor past\nproduction mines (Voyageur, Emerald, Empire, Standard, and Cub), which have\nbeen previously exploited for values in silver-lead and zinc and gold.\n\n\nIn 2006, the Company's exploration program on the Emerald - Kaslo\nproperty consisted of rock sampling and general geological mapping in and\naround the various mineralized zones found within the claim boundaries of the\nEmerald property. The mineral zones found on the Emerald property have been\ngenerally classified as polymetallic Ag-Pb-Zn +/- Cu, Au veins. In conclusion,\nthe previous rock-sampling program on the Emerald property has determined a\nstrong presence analogous to ore-grade levels of gold.\n\n\nThe Phase 1 exploration program was part of recommended stage one\nexploration program by the geologist of the 43-101 report, which consists of\ngrid expansion, soil sampling, hand-trenching, geological mapping and\nsampling, and VLF-EM and Magnetometer geophysics for the Emerald property.
