MONTREAL, Sept. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of Directors of ExelTech
Aerospace Inc. (TSX Venture: XLT) ("ExelTech Aerospace" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce the appointment of Elisabeth Preston as Vice President of
Corporate Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

Ms. Preston brings extensive experience to ExelTech Aerospace, with a
particular focus on newly public companies and systems that reinforce their
commitment to public company best practices. Her further experience in
corporate finance and corporate development and M&A work brings skills
in-house that will be invaluable to the Company.
Ms. Preston's previous appointments include positions as Corporate
Secretary and General Counsel and in executive management at public and
private companies. At present she is currently also General Counsel and
Corporate Secretary of Allen-Vanguard Corporation (TSX:VRS), a counter-
terrorism company, and was previously General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
and Director of Human Resources at InBusiness Solutions Inc. (formerly
TSX:BIZ, now owned by TrekLogic), an IT services company. Prior to this,
Ms. Preston was Director of Sales for CML Technologies Inc., a Quebec based
telecommunications manufacturer, and a business law associate at McCarthy
Tetrault LLP and Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in Ottawa. She is a member of the
Law Society of Upper Canada and holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's
degree in Public Administration. Amongst other distinctions, she is a
recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal's 2005 "Top 40 under 40" award.
Ms. Preston is also a frequent speaker on subjects ranging from Public
Financings to Employment Law.
Ms. Preston's appointment and a grant of 200,000 options at market price
has been confirmed by the board of directors of ExelTech Aerospace, subject to
approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
