The initial order\nis valued at $3.7 million, with an option for additional robot orders at a\nvalue of $1.6 million (all amounts in Canadian dollars). Ultimate quantities\nand contract values including in-service support over the life of the program\nare not yet established. The Company expects to fulfill the initial order in\nthe first half of its 2007 fiscal year commencing October 1st, 2006.\n\"This was an important win against international competitors,\" said David\nE. Luxton, Allen-Vanguard CEO. \"It further validates the performance,\ncapabilities and value of our Vanguard(TM) Mk2 robot for military operations\nand is leveragable into similar programs elsewhere.\"\nThe Vanguard(TM) Mk2 robot technology, owned by the Company, was\ndeveloped in collaboration with Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), the\nU.S. national forum that identifies, prioritizes, and coordinates interagency\nand international research and development (R&D) requirements for combating\nterrorism. The development mandate was to design an affordable bomb disposal\nrobot to meet the mission requirements of local U.S. bomb teams.
