[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nOTTAWA, June 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Allen-Vanguard Corporation (the "Company"\nor "Allen-Vanguard") (TSX: VRS) of Ottawa, today announced the launch of its\nnew OPUS and SOLO Electronic Counter Measures ("ECM" or "jammer") equipment\nthis week at the Eurosatory defense exposition in Paris.\n\n\nThe OPUS jammer is the successor to the Company's Taranis vehicle-mounted\njammer for international security forces requiring high performance against\nradio controlled improvised explosive devices (RCIEDs). SOLO is the\nman-portable version of OPUS. This new family of jammers offers proven\neffectiveness against RCIEDs in an updatable and highly compact and ruggedized\nunit for long life.\n\n\nAs an option, OPUS can be seamlessly combined with Allen Vanguard's\nElectronic Protection and Integrated Cooling (EPIC) solution. EPIC\nenvironmentally seals and assist cools any vehicle mounted electronics. EPIC\nenables state-of-the-art, high-powered electronic systems to operate in the\nharshest of environments both inside and outside the vehicle while extending\nlife-span.\n\n\nThe Company stated that it continues to evolve advanced new versions of\nits Hybrid ECM technology, including a multi-purpose next-generation platform\nfor release later this year, that combines jamming, communications and\nelectronic warfare capabilities in a single system.\n\n\nAllen Vanguard specializes in counter-IED solutions and has thousands of\njammers in use with security forces around the world, including the U.S.\nmilitary.
