He will chair the Group's Audit and Risk Committee and will also be a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees. John Sylvester, who currently chairs the Group's Audit and Risk Committee will be standing down as chair of this committee but will remain a member.\nMr Mackinnon was formerly the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Swallowfield plc, a leading supplier to global brands in the cosmetics, personal care and household goods sectors. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. \nDr Lynn Drummond, Chair of Venture Life said: \"I am pleased to welcome Ian to the board of Venture Life. Ian's experience, particularly of commercial operations in the Far East, will be invaluable as we grow both our brands and manufacturing businesses.
