[{"type":"text","content":"\n Velti PLC\n20 September 2007\n\n\n\nFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Thursday, 20 September 2007\n\n Velti powers mobile marketing campaigns for\n SingTel's Globe Telecom, a leading Asian mobile operator\n\nVelti, a leading platforms and services provider enabling mobile marketing,\nadvertising and value-added services for advertising agencies, media groups,\nmobile operators and large enterprises, today announces that it is expanding its\noperations in Asia, starting with a mobile marketing campaign in the\nPhilippines, with SingTel's Globe Telecom (a joint venture of SingTel with\nPhilippines' Ayala group)\n\nThis is Velti's mobile marketing campaigns on behalf of SingTel's Globe Telecom,\nAsia's leading communications group with more than 136 million subscribers (out\nof which 18 million are located in the Philippines) and operations in more than\n20 countries. The Philippines have the highest per capita SMS adoption rate in\nthe world, accounting for 10% of SMS sent worldwide (source: ITU).\n\nThe purpose of the campaigns is to increase Globe Telecom's customer loyalty.\nVelti has deployed its Mobile Marketing Platform and developed and implemented\ninteractive mobile marketing campaigns, which include a content-oriented mobile\ncommunity. The campaigns offer Globe Telecom customers a unique experience, with\nmobile content give-aways and other gifts being offered to boost participation.\n\nSince the campaigns were launched in July 1st, 2007, participation has reached a\nsignificant percentage of the Globe Telecom's subscriber base with more than 18\nmillion mobile interactions with the end consumers.
