(TSX:VCM), is\npleased to report strong growth in its wireless customer base with 6,577\nsubscribers at March 31, 2007, an increase of 44% from 4,572 subscribers a\nyear earlier.\n\n\nThe growth can be primarily attributed to the establishment of a\nlong-term strategic relationship announced in September 2006 between Vecima\nand Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Inc. ("the Pool") to expand high-speed technology\nto the Pool, its farm customers and communities throughout the Province of\nSaskatchewan. As part of the 7-year agreement which extended YourLink's\nwireless network coverage to over 100 of the Pool's grain marketing and\nagri-product centres across Saskatchewan, many of the Pool's sites have become\nhigh-speed wireless access points that additionally provide service to nearby\nfarms and small communities within range of the Pool's locations.\n\n\nProud to play a contributing role in the economic development of rural\nSaskatchewan, YourLink's wireless network expands its broadband Internet\nservice coverage area in Saskatchewan beyond the areas already covered by its\nextensive tower network with the addition of the Pool's locations. Many of the\nadditional rural areas covered provide high-speed Internet access for the\nfirst time as the regions are situated beyond the reach of traditional cable\nor telco DSL service.\n\n\n"The natural fit of using the Pool's grain towers as access points has\nproven to be a very successful project that benefits YourLink, the Pool, and\nthe residents and businesses of rural Saskatchewan," said Vecima Chairman and\nChief Executive Officer Dr. Surinder Kumar.
