The LMS8000 Series 900 MHz lineup\nnow includes the highest throughput OFDM indoor subscriber unit in the\nindustry. The new EUM8005 indoor radio enables wireless Internet service\nproviders to increase their return on investment by deploying premium indoor,\nhigh throughput wireless broadband access gear to their subscribers.\n\n\n"This new high modulation indoor radio is the 5th generation of WaveRider\nindoor modems and an important part of our broader wireless product\nportfolio," said Dr. Surinder Kumar, Vecima's CEO. We\nalso really like the power over Ethernet feature as it offers additional\ninstallation options over the previous EUM3005."\n\n\nFully compatible with the new OFDM LMS8000 system of base stations and\noutdoor modems released in December 2007, the new EUM8005 allows true "Plug\nand Play" connectivity including power over ethernet (PoE), which permits the\ntransfer of electrical power along with data to remote devices over standard\ntwisted pair cables in an Ethernet network. The new indoor subscriber unit\nfeatures up to 13.5 Mbps over-the-air data rate packed into a 5.5 MHz channel\nsize in the 902-928 MHz frequency range.
