Uranium One Ticker Symbol Changing Effective August 20, 2007

TORONTO, and JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, Aug. 16 /CNW/ - Uranium One Inc. announced today that, effective August 20, 2007, its stock ticker symbol on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the JSE Ltd. (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) will be changed from "SXR" to "UUU". The Company's symbol for its convertible debentures, which also trade on the TSX, will change from "SXR.DB" to "UUU.DB" at the same time.

This change is being made to better reflect the Company's recent corporate name change and to simplify its corporate branding.
