Each common\nshare of EMC has been exchanged for 1.15 common shares of Uranium One. In\naddition, all outstanding options to acquire common shares of EMC have been\nexchanged for 1.15 options to acquire common shares of Uranium One.\n\n\nWilliam Sheriff, formerly Chairman of EMC and William Lupien, formerly a\nnon-executive director of EMC, have been appointed to the board of directors\nof Uranium One. Paul Matysek, formerly President and CEO of EMC, has been\nappointed Executive Vice President, Americas for Uranium One.\n\n\nShareholders of EMC may exchange their share certificates for share\ncertificates of Uranium One by submitting them to Computershare Investor\nServices Inc. along with a completed Letter of Transmittal in the form\nprovided to the holders of EMC share certificates. The Letter of Transmittal\nis available on the EMC website www.energymetalscorp.com.\n\n\nThe common shares of EMC have ceased trading on the NYSE Arca and will\ncease trading on the TSX at the close of trading on August 13, 2007.\n\n\nAbout Uranium One\n\n\nUranium One Inc. is a Canadian-based uranium producing company with a\nprimary listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange and a secondary listing on the\nJSE Limited (the Johannesburg stock exchange).
