Management analysis in 2022\nforecasted the vanadium market would enter a multi-year period of\nprice stability favourable for expanding the Vanadium Flow Battery\n(“\n \n \n VFB\n \n \n ”) market. The price trends are now well established and\nsupport the deployment of our initial vanadium electrolyte\nmanufacturing in Québec. We are pleased to announce the\nfollowing:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Val-des-Sources, Québec\nplant\n \n \n : Our vanadium electrolyte-processing plant\nis complete and ready for inspection in the manufacturer's UK facility\nduring the week of December 4, 2023. VanadiumCorp engineers will\nconduct the inspection and release the equipment for immediate\nshipping to VanadiumCorp’s facility in Québec for\nre-assembly.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n The pre-engineering scoping study of\na second Québec electrolyte plant is complete:\n \n \n This second plant would produce approximately 4 million\nlitres/year – sufficient to provision 76 MWh of Vanadium Flow\nBattery (“VFB”) energy storage per year. The Company is now\nreviewing a specific industrial site with favourable synergies, also\nlocated in Québec. Upon site and partner selection, a detailed\nengineering and economic study is anticipated to commence in Q2\n2024.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n VanadiumCorp's commitment to energy storage for\nrenewables comes at the right time.
